Jade Rand

Jade works alongside our senior clinical research project manager, managing the NIHR Southampton Clinical Research Facility (CRF) trial portfolio.

Jade maintains oversight of management and coordination of early phase, experimental medicine and complex clinical research studies within the NIHR CRF; ensuring trials in the NIHR CRF portfolio are planned, set-up, conducted and closed within the defined timeframe, budget and quality requirements. She also oversees management of the NIHR CRF project management team.

She started this role in April 2021. She was previously an assistant project manager within the NIHR CRF project management team, specialising in set up and management of early phase CTIMP, device and ATMP trials (Inclusive of implementing new local ATMP approval processes and advising on submission of amendments to regulatory bodies). 

More recently, she also leads locally on Phase II/III Oxford COVID 19 vaccine study – COV002 (May 2020-Apr 2021)
