NIHR Southampton Clinical Research Facility (NIHR CRF)

Integrated with our BRC at the heart of University Hospital Southampton, the NIHR Southampton CRF specialises in phase I and complex phase II studies.

 

It provides the early phase expertise, quality assure specialist research areas, equipment and support you need to carry out your research with patients or healthy volunteers.

 
Use of this facility gives you access to:

​

• research nursing teams

• adult inpatient and outpatient areas

• a dedicated paediatric area

• specialist equipment

• laboratory facilities integrated with our BRC and the Wessex Investigational Sciences Hub laboratory
